SUMMER End-of-Season Tournament Rules

ALL regular season game rules (that are not mentioned below) apply for the tournament.  The rules can be found on the website for your review. This is a double elimination tournament and every team is guarenteed to play two games. As this is a long day for the players, coaches and refs, we encourage bringing tents, lots of water and taking breaks when needed!

Tournament Rules & Setup

  • The first team to win two sets wins the match
  • 2 sets to 25 points (30 point cap to keep us on schedule)
  • If there is a split, a third game to 15 points will be played
  • Each game must be won by two points

  • Winner of coin toss: chooses if the want to serve or receive for the first set. Whichever team did not serve the first set will serve the second set (regardless of winning or losing the first set)
  • Loser of coin toss: chooses which side of the court they want to play on for set one and then the teams switch for the second set.
  • Set 3: there will be another coin toss with the same rules. Teams switch sides at 8 points so teams get the same amount of time on each side of the court

  • There are NO substitutions, All players will rotate in equally during a service rotation.

No matter the amount of previous wins or loses in the tournament, the winner of the Championship game will be the WINNER of the tournament.
